“Dancing Queen” Daiquiri

A splash of pomegranate will get your toes tapping in this twist on a classic daiquiri. Combining an ancient Greek fruit with the sweet flavours of lime juice and white rum will start your Mamma Mia movie night!

Units Scale
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup boiling water
  • 8 ounces white rum
  • 8 ounces fresh lime juice
  • 8 ounces pomegranate juice
  • Large ice block


  1. In a measuring cup, stir together the granulated sugar and boiling water until dissolved to make a sugar syrup.
  2. In a shaker, add in a large ice block, then pour in the sugar syrup, rum, lime juice and pomegranate juice.
  3. Press the shaker lid firmly on and shake vigorously for about 20 seconds, until the shaker visibly frosts.
  4. Strain the mixture into a martini glasses and serve.
